Renting the vehicle requires a valid driver’s license, identification (ID) or passport, and a credit or debit card in the driver’s or secondary driver’s name.
The driver must be at least 21 years old and hold a valid driver’s license for a minimum of one year.
Collision Damage Waiver (CDW) covers an exemption amount of €800. Damages to the vehicle valued below this exemption will incur charges equivalent to the damage value. Excluded from coverage are TIRES, GLASS, CHASSIS (underside of the vehicle), and the interior.
In the event of an accident and violations such as running a red light or driving under the influence, the renter bears responsibility for the entire vehicle damage.
All fines or violations are the sole responsibility of the renter.
In case of an accident, the renter must immobilize the vehicle and promptly notify the rental company.
Replacement of the vehicle within 24 hours is available in case of damage or an accident.
Complimentary delivery service is provided at Chania airport or Souda port. For hotels located outside Chania’s city center, an additional charge applies based on the hotel’s location.
Delivery, collection, and booking hours are between 08:00 and 22:00. An extra fee of €40,00 is applicable out of normal working hours.
The renter is accountable for the vehicle’s condition and must return it in the same state as received. In the event of inadequate cleanliness (excessive dirt) upon return, the renter is liable for the cleaning expenses.
Off-road driving (on dirt roads) is strictly prohibited.
Renters are strictly prohibited from driving the vehicle outside Crete or transferring it by boat to another island.
Cancellation Policy
Full refunds are provided for cancellations made within three days of the booking.
Cancellations made one day before the booking will receive a 50% refund.
Cancellations made less than one day before the booking will not receive any refund.

Accepted methods include Debit/Credit Cards and Cash.
Deposits can be made to the PIRAEUS BANK account GR74 0172 7650 0057 6509 3644 951 under the beneficiary MOUNTAKIS STYLIANOS IOANNI. For bank deposits, please forward the deposit slip via email to info@ticrentals.gr before vehicle pickup.
A credit/debit card in the renter’s name with sufficient funds to cover the insurance exemption amount is mandatory for vehicle pickup.
